Why I test booking platforms
In 2021 I packed my laptop and moved to Bali for 3 months. First shock: Booking, Hostelworld, Airbnb and Skyscanner showed different prices for the same hotel. Second shock: none of them told me the real price before checkout. After 100+ paid nights of my own money, I documented the real cost and the traps. That is what you read here.
