No. Since 2018 they also list private rooms, shared apartments, budget hotels. On long stays (7+ nights), they beat Booking by 30 to 50% for the same quality, because hosts are nomad-friendly and offer manual discounts.

Airbnb wins on 28+ nights thanks to automatic monthly discount (-20 to -40%). Below that, Booking is simpler: fewer price surprises, cancellation more flexible, no fixed cleaning fee that breaks short stays.
